  • How far away from the beach is the housing?
    Approximatly 50 yards from the resort housing. Approximatly 200 yards from the condos.


  • What is the average tempature?
    85 degrees Costa Rica is a tropical country and in winter it does rain, normally every day. However, it does not during the whole day and rain is expected in the afternoon and mostly for two hours at the most. The rainiest month of the year is October.


  • What is your star rating?
    We are proud to have a 4 star rating.


  • Do you have air conditioning?
    All unit are provided with air conditioning.


  • Do you have all inclusive?

  • Do I need a visa to come to Costa Rica?
    If you are from a developed country, you will not need any visa to come to Costa Rica. You will only need your passport as your photo ID to be able to pass through Immigration and Customs.


  • Should I drink only bottled water in Costa Rica?
    Costa Rica's water system is one of the best in Latin America and in most places, there is potable water that any foreigner can drink without any problem. Unlike other developing countries, drinking tap water in Costa Rica is safe, however, if you feel more comfortable drinking bottled water, these are available at any store in Costa Rica.


  • Can I drive in Costa Rica with my driver's license?
    Yes, you can drive in Costa Rica for a period of three months but we do not recommend driving in Costa Rica unless you have come before to Costa Rica and know what driving in Costa Rica really is. Roads in Costa Rica are in bad condition and badly signaled. You can rent a car and drive to nearby areas close to the hotel but it is not recommended if you are planning to drive from one location to another. .


  • What is the electrical power in Costa Rica? Would I be able to use my electrical devices, like laptops, in Costa Rica?
    Electical power in Costa Rica is as in the USA (120V). You would not have any problems using your electrical devices in Costa Rica if you are from the USA. If you are from any European country or any country with EU standards, you are adviced not to bring any electrical device to Costa Rica or use a power converter to be able to use your electrical devices in Costa Rica.


  • What is the time zone in Costa Rica?
    Costa Rica is the same as U.S. central standard time, but does not observe daylight savings time.


  • Is driving a good idea?
    Many people love driving and visiting the country at their own pace. Car Rentals are available from the major rental companies. To rent one you must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver's license and a major credit card. Gasoline is available at stations throughout Costa Rica, most are open 24 hours. Auto insurance is a MUST, which is included in your contract with the car rental because most insurance companies explicitly exclude foreign countries from their coverage. If you have a question, contact your carrier. When the rented car is given to you, the contract will explain both parts responsibilities. If you are involved in a traffic accident: Do not loose your temper, do not leave the place of the accident, do not move the car, cooperate with the legal authorities, do not sign any agreements nor accept any liability, and contact your rental car company immediately.


  • What are the medical concerns and suggested vaccines?
    Health care in Costa Rica is very good and sanitary standards are high. First class hospitals are found throughout San José and some of the other largely populated areas. Since long ago, diseases such as malaria, paludismo, and yellow fever were eradicated in Costa Rica. There are no plagues like in other countries, and no special vaccine recommendations for travelers more than the influenza and the tetanus vaccines. Hospitals and the Red Cross will provide any medical treatment in case of emergency.


  • What are the entry requirements into Costa Rica?
    All visitors are required to have a passport valid for at least six months beyond the dates of the trip. Visitors from the following countries are allowed to stay for 90 days without a visa: Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Israel, Japan, Panama, Paraguay, Uruguay, United States and all European countries except from Albania, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Czech Republics, Iceland, Ireland, Lithuania, Malta, Slovakia and Slovenia. Visitors from these countries are allowed to stay for 30 days without a visa: Australia, Belice, China, Guatemala, Honduras, Iceland, Ireland, Mexico, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore, The Philippines and Venezuela.:


  • Can you swim at Playa Azul Beach
    Yes, you can but you would need to swim at your own risk. There are no lifeguard on duty at the beach and the current can be strong.
